ACID SOCIAL ENTERPRISE MODEL (ASEM)

ASEM is a subsidiary under the operations of Africa Center for Inclusive Development for the organization sustainability. The organization established parents support groups to form cooperative groups. These groups serve as ACID Social Enterprise Model.  Each operation district have a cooperative group with various business Ventures. The revenue that will be generating from the enterprise will used to support the organization intervention activities

Mission

To promote ACID Social Enterprise model through rendering of technical and financial assistance on Rice Processing, Cook Stove, Sheabutter Processing and Soap making through cooperate model.

Guiding principle of ASEM

Policy of the program will apply equally to all groups within program and those that will be registered subsequent will be binding the group’s laws and the structures. The main qualifying criterion for a member is to be registered member and have a child with disability. This guiding principle is meant to serve as a reference and guide to ASEM which seek to promote and support groups small scale business and production to link them to benefits under various programmes and schemes of the thematic areas of the fund. The management of each group will determine by their structure to full manage and control of the group management and the business. These groups will run a whole sale systems where the group collectively producer and retail it to members for sale to customers or clients in the market. However, the cultural, political and social expectations in business organization and management are not known and will be determined by ACID-Ghana and the local people.
